Our school is an elementary Art teaching School, where we teach dance, classical music, folk music, jazz, drama and fine arts. The students are from 6 until 22 years old. We are located in a small town, where different nationalities live together. There are more than 400 students and 35 teachers in our school.
Our main goal is to hand over the values of our national and the European cultures heritage for the students, furthermore our school gives opportunity to form their aesthetic sensitivity as well. Dance, music, drama and fine arts are serving as a medium provider for the children that helps them to make connections and to learn cooperation skills, promotes the international understanding, and gives the opportunity for every child to develop as an European citizen.
Our teachers were involved into several “Comenius” and “Erasmus” projects, and gained many exercises in European projects.
One of our main purposes to teach our pupils how to live a happy and complete life.
The modern dance improves not only the physical health, but also provides a healthy soul in order to avoid the daily stress situations.
The dance and the fine arts department’s teachers besides the technical skills try to teach how to express their thoughts, feelings, emotions with different movements or visual tools.
The drama department’s students improve their acting skills, improvisation skills and study about how to form different characters.
Furthermore it is also our goal to involve the pupils into an active community to play music, dance, cooperate with each other. Thanks to this our students are ready to neglect the surrounding technical word (smartphone, tablet etc.) too.
